MatchMyDevice is a product by Mioru Studio. You can use the whole site without an account. Public pages load Awin's Publisher MasterTag, and our homepage also loads Impact's affiliate verification and tracking script, described below.
What we record
To learn which devices people look for and which we are missing, we keep anonymous usage records:
- the text of searches made on the site (up to 100 characters), with how well they matched our catalogue;
- views of device and filter pages;
- clicks on search results and on links to manufacturer sources;
- clicks on “Where to buy” links: which store link was clicked and whether it was on a device or a part page.
Our own usage records hold only the event, its time and the catalogue item or source involved. These records do not store your IP address, browser details, cookies or any identifier that links records to you or to each other. Please do not type personal information into the search box.
Site analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and reports aggregated information such as pages visited, referring sites and country. Search text is removed from the addresses it receives.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel and its data is stored with Supabase. Like any web host, they process standard request information, such as IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the service.
Links to other sites
Evidence links open the manufacturer's own website or documents. Store links open the retailer's site. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Affiliate links
Public pages load Awin's Publisher MasterTag to support affiliate attribution and plugins enabled in our Awin account. Awin receives requests from your browser; enabled plugins can process referral information and use tracking technologies. Links to manufacturer evidence are excluded and are never turned into affiliate links. See Awin's privacy policy.
Our homepage loads Impact's publisher tag for website ownership verification and impression tracking. It does not rewrite links on the site. Impact receives requests from your browser and may use cookies or other tracking technologies. See Impact's privacy policy.
MatchMyDevice may earn a commission when you purchase through some links, at no additional cost to you. Commercial relationships never affect which parts we list as compatible or how they are verified. A part is listed as compatible only when an official manufacturer source confirms it, whether or not anyone sells it through a link on this site.
“Where to buy” lists official (OEM) parts only, in alphabetical order by store, without prices. See our affiliate disclosure.
